Dr. Falicov is an orthopedic surgeon with subspecialty training in spine surgery. He has a particular interest in minimally invasive surgery, spine tumors and complex spine deformity. Although he is specially trained in spine surgery, Dr. Falicov has extensive experience in general orthopedics and trauma. Dr. Falicov combines extensive education, distinguished awards and honors and research in science and mathematics (specifically chemistry and physics) in his orthopedic practice.

Dr. Falicov enjoys living in the greater Seattle area with his wife Betty and their two children, Ethan and Nikki. Dr. Falicov speaks fluent Spanish and American Sign Language and also speaks French and Mandarin Chinese. He says, “I believe in a comprehensive, analytical approach to spine and orthopedic problems. I use both non-operative and operative techniques to achieve the optimal outcome for patients with an emphasis on the least invasive method to achieve an excellent outcome. I am a strong advocate for patient education and autonomy.”

Dr. Falicov’s expertise is in spine trauma, tumors, intradural spinal cord lesions, intervertebral disc disease, degenerative and congenital deformities, general orthopedic trauma and general orthopedics.
